Ginger Blue began in 1990 when Steve and Pam Montes started creating rag dolls and distressed bears to support their newly created family.
A few years ago, The wildly creative Pam, started affixing images to metal steel tiles. When she, we made 56 framed metal pieces and sold out in 2 hours. We had a problem, so many images and so many colors. With over a 100 different images and 7 different colors, it would take a huge number to have just 1 of every style and color.Shortly thereafter, Pam had an ah ha moment. When set up next to a vendor selling tiny magnets, which continued falling off of a cookie sheet, she turned to me a hit me in the arm. " I got it, lets put our pictures on flexible magnet. That way customers can change them when they want." Ever since , We have been creating an ever growing demand for new artwork.
Located in Saugerties NY, adjacent to THE Woodstock, the company is owned and run by the husband & wife team ofSteve & Pam and is rapidly expanding from being small home based busineess to a full Art and decor brand.
Our goal is to beautiful every wall in the home and change it often.
